Bergenia Bressingham White, commonly known as 'Elephant's Ears', is a vigorous plant that is ideal for ground cover, filling out shrubbery and adding height and texture to flower beds and borders.
The pure white flowers bloom in March/April and are known to attract bees and encourage pollination. The flowers grow in clusters above large deep green leaves that look attractive throughout the year.
With a maximum height and width of 0.5m, Begenia Bressingham White will reach is full maturity and growth within around 2-5 years. This is a robust plant that can withstand very cold temperatures and frost. It will flourish in both exposed and secluded spots and requires little nurturing.
Bergenia Bressingham is tolerant of poor soil but thrives in soil rich in organic nutrients and grows best in a moist environment with excellent drainage.
